Draft Invoices Page
A user is limited to accessing Draft Invoices and AP Invoices where one of their assigned locations belongs to the Site on the Draft Invoice/AP Invoice header.
See Maintaining Users - Locations tab on the Users Detail page.
| To see which site a location belongs to, search for the location on the Locations Page. See Maintaining Locations. The Site Code appears on the location header. |
To search for a draft invoice, see Searching for a Draft Invoice.
Draft Invoices can be manually created or automatically generated.
Manually Created Draft Invoices
Manually created Draft Invoices are added into a new Draft Invoice detail page, with each field manually copied from an Invoice PDF. See Creating a Draft Invoice.
Automatically Generated Draft Invoices
Automatically Generated Draft Invoices are extracted from Invoice PDFs which must first be copied to the Worklist folder (see Copying Draft Invoices to the Worklist), or uploaded using Upload Invoice Files.
Once a Draft Invoice has been automatically generated, you can view and edit it, as part of the validation stage (see Editing an Automatically Generated Draft Invoice). If a Draft Invoice is successfully generated with no errors or warnings, the validation stage can be skipped entirely.
Note on Vendors
You may only select Vendors that belong to your assigned Vendor Groups when adding or editing a Draft Invoice or an AP Invoice.
